A modern-day spa retreat for both men and women located in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, Balance Spa offers a wide variety of massage, skin and nail therapies to its local clientele.

Owner, Nan Vardaro, collects email addresses on her website and instructs her desk personnel to inform every client about the spa's email list. In a short time, she has managed to build a list of almost 3,000 clients and prospects.

"We give clients the option to receive special event notifications and/or our daily specials. Even though daily emails may sound too frequent, 85% of my clients sign up for them!"
