Childrens’ Creative Learning Centers Goes
SAN JOSE, Calif. — October 24, 2006 — Intacct Corporation, the leader in on-demand financial applications, today announced that Childrens’ Creative Learning Centers, Inc. (CCLC), one of California’s leading providers of employer-sponsored childcare and early childhood education, is using Intacct’s Web-based financial, supply chain and business intelligence software to manage the finances of its 18 childcare centers in California and Colorado.
CCLC is integrating Intacct with an on-demand childcare management suite from Childcare Online Services (COS), a provider of Web sites, online marketing, e-newsletters, automatic tuition collection, and time-and-attendance tracking software for the childcare industry. Combining Intacct and COS allows CCLC to cost-effectively run the operations of its preschools, including several on-site or near-site centers at Fortune 500 companies.
Parents using CCLC’s services receive automatic email reminders, read online newsletters, check schedules and view pictures of their kids’ activities via a secure login on the CCLC Web site. Employers can register and request backup care directly on the CCLC Web site.
CCLC can efficiently and accurately manage the finances of its growing network of childcare facilities. While CCLC directors at each center manage tuition billing and payments online, accounting staff at the company’s home office in Sunnyvale, Calif. consolidates the books and analyzes business performance on a per-location basis.
