Telefónica Publicidad e Información Goes Live with Amdocs Sales Force Automation for Directory Publishers
MADRID, Spain and ST. LOUIS, MO - June 6, 2006 - Telefónica Publicidad e Información (TPI), the directory business of Telefónica and the leader in the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking directory markets, and Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of software and services to enable integrated customer management, the intentional customer experience TM, announced today the successful deployment of Amdocs’ sales force automation (SFA) solution for directory publishers at TPI. Amdocs provided TPI with implementation and integration services to support the rollout and will also deliver ongoing maintenance services.
Through automation, the Amdocs SFA solution for directory publishers enables TPI to execute cost-effective sales campaigns. Amdocs’ SFA integrates into TPI’s system environment using industry-standard Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) middleware and provides TPI’s sales representatives with a user-friendly, single point of entry into multiple organizational systems for a single customer view. Incorporating robust online and offline capabilities, Amdocs’ SFA solution helps TPI to maximize the productivity of its sales force and improve the customer experience when customers interact with the publisher’s sales representatives. The Amdocs solution also allows TPI to track sales via sales productivity, forecasting and management reporting functionalities, as well as design and implement advanced pricing and incentive schemes.
