Amdocs Helps T-Mobile UK Rapidly Launch Flext, the Flexible Postpaid Billing Plan

ST. LOUIS, MO - September 26, 2006 - Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of software and services to enable integrated customer management and the intentional customer experience ™ , today announced that it provided the implementation services needed to help T-Mobile UK launch Flext, the country’s first flexible postpaid price plan. Flext is a strategic initiative for T-Mobile UK that will allow the company to attract and retain customers. In fact, the launch of Flext on 1st March 2006 was T-Mobile UK’s biggest ever and Flext is the company’s fastest selling postpaid product.

Flext is part of T-Mobile’s strategy to cut tariff confusion, do away with bill shock and introduce new standards of value and flexibility. Flext denominates value in terms of pounds sterling spent per month, not fixed numbers of minutes or texts, and it lets customers spend their money on whatever mix of minutes, texts, voicemail and picture messaging they want, while typically in the industry, voicemail and picture messages are charged extra to monthly contracts. With Flext, T-Mobile has introduced completely new standards of value with, for example, £180 of value delivered for £35 a month on Flext 35.

Amdocs has a long-standing relationship with T-Mobile UK. The service provider already operates Amdocs billing systems to support its postpaid customers. Amdocs systems are scalable and can be easily upgraded to support new subscribers and billing plans. In this latest project, the two companies worked together to support Flext from a single platform and utilize a comprehensive product catalog.
