Worldwide Road Show on Track to Reach 30,000 Target as 3,000 Customers, Partners and Prospects Already Have Gained Firsthand Insight into Next-Generation Solutions from SAP

WALLDORF, Germany - August 04, 2006 - SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced the SAP World Tour 2006, a series of events in 76 cities around the world engaging local businesses in direct dialogue on how SAP® software can help to drive innovation and run their business processes more efficiently. Participants have the opportunity to gain firsthand insight from SAP executives, partners and local peers into key focus areas, including solutions for midsize companies, industry-specific applications such as SAP for Retail, SAP for Banking and SAP for Public Sector, as well as next-generation software leveraging enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA). The events are sponsored globally by Intel Corporation. SAP today also announced the SAP NetWeaver® Technology Tour, targeted at technical audiences, and bringing SAP technology experts and thought leaders to the worldwide developer community.

Launched in early June, the SAP World Tour is expected to draw a total of 30,000 attendees by the end of 2006. To date, more than 3,000 customers and prospects have attended a number of events in countries such as Germany, Slovenia and Saudi Arabia. From Sydney, Zagreb and Tel Aviv to Stockholm and Caracas, each event features keynotes, presentations, customer success stories and panel discussions, as well as industry-specific and technology-focused breakout tracks on topics such as solutions for the midmarket or business benefits of the newest version of mySAP™ ERP, the market-leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) application.

The road show offers customers and partners throughout the world a local event in a format similar to the annual SAPPHIRE® customer conferences at the international level. Customers and partners have the opportunity to network with peers, SAP executives and industry partners to learn more about recent SAP product releases and the company’s vision for innovative new business processes based on enterprise SOA. As a global sponsor, Intel will provide attendees with insight into upcoming projects, as well as recent successes with Intel and SAP customers. Additionally, many countries will be organizing pre-event Education Days, where partners can learn more about SAP’s software and services offerings, helping them to expand their own solution offerings to drive customer success. More than 900 partners already have participated in Education Days during the first leg of the tour.
