MILAN – 27^th July, 2006 – SSA Global (NASDAQ: SSAG), a leading global provider of enterprise business software and services, today announced that Fjord S.p.A., a leading manufacturer of salmon and other fishing products based in Italy, has successfully implemented  SSA ERP_LX^TM to manage their manufacturing and distribution processes.  Fjord S.p.A. manages its production process through modern facilities in Italy and subsidiaries in Norway and Chile. More than 3,000 tons of salmon and other fishing products are processed and distributed each year. Fjord S.p.A. chose SSA ERP_LX for its scalability and for its ability to support multi currency, multi site, multi language, and dynamic weights and measures operations.
 

Before the SSA ERP_LX implementation Fjord S.p.A.’s manufacturing process was not integrated into the IT system, resulting in high manufacturing and distribution costs together with limited product traceability. SSA ERP_LX will help Fjord S.p.A. improve visibility into its supply chain and reduce costs.

 Fjord S.p.A. has successfully implemented the Logistics, Distribution and Finance modules of the SSA ERP_LX solution. They have plans to complete the Manufacturing module integration before the end of September 2006.
