Global Plumbing Supply Manufacturer Selects SSA Global Warehouse Management Solution
SSA Provia WMS to help Viega fully automate distribution center processes
CHICAGO – July 11, 2006 – SSA Global (NASDAQ: SSAG), a leading global provider of enterprise business software and services, today announced that Viega NA, a leading supplier for the plumbing and heating industries, is implementing SSA Warehouse Management Solution (SSA WMS) as part of a strategy to automate its three North American distribution centers.
Viega NA, the wholly owned subsidiary of Germany-based Viega GmbH & Co. KG, chose SSA Provia WMS for its scalability, functionality to support faster and more accurate order fulfillment and ease with which it can be integrated into the company’s SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.

Viega will use SSA WMS to efficiently manage, pick, pack and ship a complex product range of thousand of individual parts that vary in size, volume and weight. The solution will enable Viega to use flexible picking strategies so they can quickly adapt to different products and selection processes.
