Aplicor Named Best Product Development Organization in 2006 American Business Awards

Boca Raton, Florida, June 13, 2006 - Aplicor, Inc., a global software publisher of subscription-based and hosted CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) web-based software solutions, today announced the company was named the Winner in the ‘Best Product Development Organization’ category in the fourth annual American Business Awards. This award designation marks the first time a company has earned this Stevie award in back to back years.

From a nomination list of over 1,500 entries in several categories, Aplicor was named one of three Finalists on May 12th and was designated the overall Winner at the June 12 ballroom ceremony located at the Times Square Marriott Marquis in New York City. The ceremonies were videocast live on the Internet and broadcast nationwide on radio. 

In winning the Stevie, Aplicor Executive Vice President Pete Koltis was presented the Stevie before a packed ballroom by Ali Velshi, CNN host of The Turnaround and CNN’s Daybreak.  In accepting the Stevie, Mr. Koltis said, “It is truly an honor and a privilege to be honored as the best product development organization in America two years in a row. This award designation is humbling when considering the many great organizations whom Aplicor was compared to. I congratulate the other award finalists, Citrix and NS Enterprises, and thank the American Business Awards for their sponsorship.”

Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie winners from among the Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in earlier this year. The Board of Distinguished Judges for company evaluation and winner selection included Donald Trump, Chairman, President & CEO, The Trump Organization, Rich Karlgaard, Publisher, Forbes Magazine, Scott C. Marden, President, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Barry C.
